Andrew Lazarus is a hotelier who has recently purchased the Beach Hotel in Merewether, New South Wales.
It is one of the most lucrative hotel deals ever in the history of Australia.
The hotel was built in 1959 and has 80 hotel rooms as well as 32 serviced apartments.
In addition to this luxury accommodation, guests can also enjoy an indoor heated pool, gym and sauna, spa, and private beach access.

The restaurant offers French-inspired cuisine as well as a private dining room that overlooks Cooks Beach.
It is an iconic oceanfront property that has been used for many of Australia’s most memorable wedding ceremonies.
The owners had been seeking to sell ever since the hotel was badly damaged by fire.
The blaze started at a nearby business and quickly spread to the Beach Hotel. According to the report, it’s expected that restoration work could take up to two years.
Andrew Lazarus says he is committed to restoring Merewether’s main landmark.
He is also determined to preserve the Beach Hotel’s heritage, announcing that he will work with expert advisers to restore the former Tropicalia nightclub and find a way of preserving the building’s distinctive gabled roof.
Andrew Lazarus is hoping that this latest business venture proves to be successful, as he will be able to offer guests an under-sea view of the swim-up bar if they stay at his newly purchased property.
He plans to convert the Beach Hotel into a boutique property with world-renowned chefs on his payroll.
Alongside this, he also said that it will be transformed into one of the best locations for people traveling to Sydney from overseas.
He also wants to expand his business too, with plans in place for around 10 new hotels throughout Australia.
