Dechert was recently awarded as the best white collar firm in professional and consulting services for the second time. This award is given based on a survey conducted on a total sample size of over 400,000 employees. From the survey, 93 percent of the respondents acknowledged that Dechert was a great place to work. Based on the average U.S company, this number is 34 points higher. The survey participants were required to answer sixty questions that describe to what extent their organization creates a great workplace.
85 percent of evaluation from the best place to work survey revolved around their experience on reaching full human potential and experiences of trust at Dechert white collar law firm. The great workplace also analyzes the respondents’ experience of a company’s workforce makeup and organization size. The other 15% of the ranking was informed based on the effectiveness of the company leaders and organizations value, assessment of innovation, among other factors. The human resource department admitted that they are delighted that people honored them in such a great way and that they will share it with the firm’s community.
The unique aspect about this award is that it’s the only one in the United States which recognizes winners based on the fair treatment of employees. The companies such as Dechert get assessed based on how well they create excellent employee experience, which cuts across disability status, age, gender and race. Sara Lewis, the Great Place to Work Vice President, pointed out that for any company to receive the award will have to show a strong company culture that shouldn’t necessarily be confined to the physical workplace. She also states that despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, the employees of the Dechert white collar firm felt supported by the firm’s management and that their leaders always try to bring out the best in them.
